Eddie Van Es
Hitting Instructor
A native of Hampton VA, Eddie graduated from Kecoughtan high school in 2004. After excelling as a high school player, Eddie took his talents to the prestigious Virginia Military Institute for two years. He transferred to Tennessee Wesleyan College to finish his degree. In 2008-2009, Eddie was selected to the all conference 1st team. He made First team all region in 2008, and 2 time AAC regional champion at TWU. Eddie played his summer baseball for the Peninsula Pilots in the Coastal Plains League. He was a two time all-star and set the record for hits in a single season with 79 in 2007. In 2008 he set the record for career hits with 137. In 2008, Van Es received the prestigious Kevin Eddie award for excellence on the field in addition to displaying good character throughout the community.
Eddie has a B.S. in Business Administration-General Management from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 2009.
